Publisher’s 15th anniversary edition for the 1995 text which was finalised in press but not released until August 1996. It includes the author’s name Robin Hobb listed in error as the copyright holder, and the planned publication date of 1995. A game of thrones is the first volume of Martin’s epic multi-volume saga A song of ice and fire. In 2019 the BBC includedA game of thrones in it’s list of 100 Novels That Shaped Our World. The book spawned a highly successful television series which ran from 2011 to 2019.
