Australian Gold Dust.
[Title from manuscript label on mount]. [U.K.? : s.n., probably before 1860]. Microscope slide, 76 x 26 mm, maker’s manuscript label to mount; sealed underneath the circular glass (diameter 13 mm) at the centre of the mount is a quantity of specimens of gold dust (unspecified nett weight); the glass has a hairline crack but the slide is otherwise in very good condition.
