[AUTOMOBILES] The whys and wherefores of car lubrication.

$135.00 AUD

[Sydney, NSW] : Shell Company of Australia Ltd., [1935?]. Oblong quarto (210 x 245 mm), original pictorial card covers (light creasing), pp 28, with numerous monochrome line-drawn illustrations and several superb colour fold-outs showing cross-sections of car engines, and an additional colour fold-out of a Lucas cut-out and voltage regulator at rear; title page with previous owner’s name, inside wrappers with damp staining, otherwise contents clean and sound.

A stunning piece of 1930s futuristic graphic design. Produced by Shell Australia – but unfortunately no mention of the talented artist!
