Duodecimo, printed wrappers (a little sunned), a presentation copy, inscribed on the inside front wrapper ‘To George [Johnston, Canadian poet], Worcester, April 2, 1957’ and signed in full by the poet on the title page; [28] pp; a near fine copy.

First edition of the Scottish expatriate poet Gael Turnbull’s third book of poetry, drawing inspiration from the Icelandic sagas. Turnbull was a central figure in the British Poetry Revival of the 1960s and 1970s.
