Four chromolithographed cards, in uniform 102 x 63 mm format; rectos featuring a head-and-shoulders caricature and a greeting below, with ‘Raphael Tuck & Sons, Copyright’ in fine print across lower margin; versos with the RT&S monogram trademark and ‘Artistic Series 1256’; a couple of small marks, otherwise in excellent condition. (These cards were found preserved inside a late nineteenth-century Australian photograph album).
