Rome : [s.n.], [1816?]. Broadside on laid paper, quarto (185 x 140 mm), a poem with 18 stanzas in two columns printed recto and verso; colophon at foot ‘In Roma, Con Permesso’; worn, and with a short tear at one edge of a horizontal fold, but complete.
A scarcely recorded broadside with an anonymous poem commemorating the Bombardment of Algiers (27 August 1816), a military action which was part of a campaign by the British and Dutch to end the slavery practices of Oma Agha, the Dey of Algiers.
