Folio,  quarter cloth over papered boards, pale foxing to paste-downs and top edge, 36 pp, with twelve high quality plates by Nolan, facsimile of Britten’s handwritten score with pasted on additions. Written for the members of Wandsworth School Boys’ Choir to perform on the 50th Anniversary of The Save the Children Fund at St. Paul’s Cathedral on 19th May, 1969. This edition published to mark the occasion of the composer’s sixtieth birthday. Limited to 1000 copies (there were also three hundred specially bound de luxe copies, signed by Benjamin Britten and Sidney Nolan).
