Octavo, pictorial stiff wrappers (lower wrapper with a few paper adhesions), pp 81, , inside wrappers with advertisements for South Pacific Lager and Hardy’s Tintara Wines; foreword by Ngaire Dunn, President of the Boroko Branch of the CWAPNG (Boroko was one of the main residential areas for expats in Port Moresby); the booklet contains recipes selected for their suitability to the tropical climate of Papua New Guinea: for soft drinks and alcoholic mixed drinks; soups, entrees and savoury dishes; poultry, fish and meat dishes; desserts; “ideas for leftovers”, and local dishes such as baked fish in milk, cooking aibika with hot stones and baked sago pudding; internally very clean, a good copy.
