Includes a twenty-page chapter on Australian Aborigines with discussion of their customs and habits. Specific mention is made to Aborigines of New South Wales, Western Australia and Van Diemen’s Land. Other chapters include those on Polynesians (with reference to Tahitians and Maori), North American Indians, and Eskimos.
