With an original screen print by Warhol printed in four colours bound in (vertical band of surface rubbing, 25 mm wide, towards left-hand edge of print). Edition of 1500 copies.
In 1982 Warhol was commissioned by the Gendai Hanga Center to produce a series of works for them focusing on flowers. Warhol chose the chrysanthemum (kiku) as his subject, the insignia of the Royal House of Japan. Three screenprints were published in a signed edition of 300 copies each, and a deluxe exhibition catalogue with an unsigned original screenprint in an edition of 1500 copies.
