[NEW GUINEA; MISSIONS] A Methodist hymn book in pidjin English for use in mission services held for indentured labourers.

Cover title: A Metodist him buk. Malakuna, Rabaul : Printed and published by the Methodist Mission, 1932. First edition (?). Duodecimo (155 x 105 mm), original printed brown wrappers (stained, paper loss along spine), original stitch binding (loosened), pp [4], 12; leaves detached from wrappers, but contents complete; (the substantially contents from a second copy are inserted at rear); a very well used example, with pencil inscriptions indicating it was a hymn book used by a young native pupil at the mission school named Tivifirig.

Trove locates no copies. (NLA holds a copy of a 1936 edition printed at the same press, which includes the catechism).
