Duodecimo (167 x 108 mm), original tan-coloured buckram over boards with black lettering to upper board, title page with discreet old wet stamp of the Edinburgh Free Church College, 45 pp, a very good copy; from The Papuan Collection of Charles Fletcher (Melbourne), and accompanied by his bookplate.

Mukawa (or Are) is an Austronesian language still used by a small number of speakers in the Cape Vogel region in Milne Bay Province, Papua New Guinea.
