‘In 1959 Andrew and Bronwen Scott-Branagan and their two little girls departed by ship for Papua New Guinea. They had answered God’s call to the Methodist mission field where Andrew was appointed as Principal of Salamo Teachers’ College on Fergusson Island in the D’Entrecasteaux and Mission Education Officer for all of Papua. This book recounts their joys and sorrows, the birth of a son, and some of the events as they lived and worked on the isolated, but bustling mission station’ (back cover).
