London : Martin Secker & Warburg Limited, 1978. Quarto, gilt-lettered cloth (slightly bowed), illustrated dustjacket (a few marks and stains), 56 pp., illustrated with full page plates by Olsen. The standard edition. Signed and inscribed ‘For Andrew, with love & appreciation’ by both Jennifer Rankin and also John Olsen, who has executed a pen drawing of a pelican, which appears to be enhanced by a ‘1977 white Burgandy wash’ (as inscribed by Olsen on another copy we handled, which had a similar drawing with wash, and bore the same date, so was no doubt completed in the same sitting). The author, Jennifer Rankin, passed away at the age of 38 the following year.
