Leipzig : Wagner & Debbs Printing House; distributed by A. M. Karmi, Dersaadet (Constantinople), [c.1919]. Quarto (280 x 240 mm), original cloth-backed printed papered boards (boards sunned and slightly bowed, cloth split along backstrip); pp. 24, with 34 chromolithographed maps, including Africa, Australia, Americas, Europe, Turkey, Asia, and a celestial map; text in Ottoman script (Old Turkish with Arabic letters); a couple of early institutional stamps with date 1921, inner boards foxed, occasional handling marks to margins, otherwise internally very good.

First and only edition of this scarce atlas printed by a German publishing house for the Ottoman market, and distributed by a Jewish agent, A. Karmi of Dersaadet (Constantinople) – making it a somewhat cosmopolitan production. The atlas was published prior to the proclamation of the Turkish Republic.
