Three albumen print photographs in identical 210 x 240 mm format, joined to form a contiguous three-part panoramic view of Hong Kong, with the city of Victoria beneath The Peak on the right, and the Wan Chai waterfront on the left; the photographs were clearly taken from the deck of a ship in Victoria Harbour, in the direction of Tsim Sha Tsui; the prints are in very good condition, with some expected variation in the tonal range of each (most noticeable in the darker foreground water in the middle print); housed in an archival window mount.

This panorama can be approximately dated to 1887: the Hong Kong and Shanghai Bank building was completed in 1886, and the Peak Tram was started in 1888.
