Paradise Garden. Paintings, drawings and poems with an introduction by Robert Melville (deluxe edition)

London: R Alistair McAlpine, 1971. Quarto, 110pp. consisting of poems by Sidney Nolan accompanied by full page plates with colour crayon acetate overlays, with three discrete blinstamps from a private collection. The de luxe edition, in a batik cloth binding, signed by the artist. A total of 3000 copies were produced, 2890 standard editions (cloth bound with dustjacket), plus, according to the colophon, 110 de luxe copies of which 20 contained original Nolan drawings. In reality, the deluxe edition consisted of 85 copies without a drawing, and numbered so by Nolan in pen (this is copy number 17). Possibly the final unaccounted for 5 copies were a presentation issue.
