Quarto (270 x 210 mm), illustrated card covers, pp 141; auction catalogue with 755 lots, illustrated in colour; includes many significant paintings by Central and Western Desert artists (Rover Thomas, Emily Kame Kngwarreye etc.); a superb Kimberley wandjina by Alec Mingelmanganu; several important Maori carved figures; Queensland Rainforest shields and a bicornual basket; early Arnhem Land sculpture and bark paintings (from the highly significant Dorothy Bennett Collection); Oceanic Art from the Hornshaw Collection; a few leaves with bent top corners, otherwise very good.
