Spring Racing Carnival Edition Prints (complete set)

[Melbourne : Spring Racing Carnival, circa 1994]. Complete set of four limited edition edition posters, each featuring a photographic image by Rennie Ellis taken at the Spring Racing Carnival, blind embossed with fine detail of the racefield along the lower margin. Each poster hand signed by Rennie Ellis below the image. Limited to 250 copies, although not all copies were signed. Fine condition, never framed.

In 1993 Rennie Ellis was appointed official photographer for the Spring Racing Carnival for two years. Rennie Ellis had photographed race meets including the Melbourne Cup for many years, and published the photobook ‘Cup Fever’ in 1987.
