Teeming with Life. John Olsen: His complete graphics 1957 – 2005 (trial binding for the deluxe edition, possibly unique)

Quarto, decorated grey cloth in clamshell box, portrait of Geoffrey Dutton to upper panel, edges blocked silver, 264 pp, illustrated throughout. First edition, first printing of the definitive catalogue raisonné of Olsen’s graphics. This appears to be a trial binding for the deluxe edition, which was subsequently bound in brown cloth and housed in a slipcase rather than box. The deluxe edition was limited to 70 copies, specially bound differently to the standard edition and included an original signed etching by Olsen bound in, Floating, also printed in an edition of 70.

We have not encountered another example in this binding, which is probably a trial binding for the deluxe edition.
