The deluxe autograph edition, limited to 250 copies, of which 200 were for sale, signed and numbered by Morris; loosely enclosed, the publisher’s prospectus, pp. 4, colour illustration.
Morris was active in the 1920s in Melbourne. Her work follows in the tradition of, and bears a strong resemblance to, that of Ida Rentoul Outhwaite. Morris married in 1930 and left the art world completely, leaving an enchanting published legacy of Australian children’s illustration. Muir 5153 (not mentioning the autograph edition).
