A biography of John Barwick (1612-1664), royalist churchman and Dean of St. Paul’s Cathedral, written in 1671 by his brother, the physician Peter Barwick (1619-1705), who deposited the manuscript, along with the original papers in support of the facts mentioned in his account, in the library of St John’s college, Cambridge. It remained unpublished until William Bowyer’s edition of 1721.
