Private [i.e. non-commercial] photograph on Velox paper, 101 x 75 mm; verso with paper adhesions from an old album page, but with the violet wet stamp “Velox” still visible; in fine condition.

The plaque on the stone building behind the unidentified couple is the foundation stone of the Lutheran Children’s Home, Koonibba, which was opened in 1913. It is hoped that further research will be able to identify the young man and woman.
