An important collection of Jesuit missionaries’ annual letters from Japan, China (including Macao), Goa, and Ethiopia, for the years 1615-1619, containing a wealth of information about recent events and the progress of the missions in each location. Among the letter writers are Ivan Vremàn (Japan), Camillo Costanzo (Japan), Gasparo Luis (Goa), Pietro Paez (Ethiopia), Michele della Pace (Ethiopia), Francesco Viera (China), Alfonso Vagnone (China), Antonio di Sousa (Macao), and Francesco Eugenio (Macao). The Italian translation was done by Lorenzo delle Pozze. This is the more complete of the two Italian editions of 1621.
