An original collage by Robert Jacks from his Bloomsday book

In 2004 Macmillan Art Publishing published Robert Jacks : his Bloomsday book, being ‘a dayfull of collages’ by the artist with accompanying poetry in celebration of the centenary of ‘Bloomsday’, 16 June 2004, being the day of events in the seminal work by James Joyce Ulysses. The book features striking Robert Jacks collage designs interwoven with poems, comments and quotations from the Joyce classic. This original composition by the artist is unique and is reproduced as a full page plate in the book (the pages are unnumbered). It is unsigned as it was not created as an exhibition work but rather as a design for the publication.
