Biography of Prince Mangosuthu Gatsha Buthelezi (1928 – 2023), South African politician and Zulu Prince, who served as the traditional prime minister to the Zulu royal family from 1954 until his death in 2023. Buthelezi was appointed by Nelson Mandela as Minister of Home Affairs for the Republic of South Africa, serving from 1994 to 2004.
