Melbourne : Digest Juvenile Productions, n.d. [c. 1948]. Oblong quarto, illustrated papered boards (slightly edgeworn), illustrated in colour and black and white, some pale toning. A rare children’s book written and illustrated by the noted artist Ethel Spowers, who studied under Claude Flight at the Grosvenor School, and is known for her modernist design. Prize bookplate to pastedown. Very good condition, rarely found thus.
