Etching and aquatint, 19.5 x 25 cm (plate line); 23 x 40 cm (sheet), title in pencil lower left ‘Dancing Madness’, editioned lower left E/P (Épreuve d’Artiste, or Artists Proof, the published edition was 60 copies and released under the title Geneveive Dancing), signed with Blackman studio stamp lower right, a couple of small spots of foxing to margin, unframed.

A fine Blackman etching, full of motion and energy.

The published title is a reference to Genevieve de Couvreur who was married to Blackman from 1978 to 1987.
