‘Foreign Forests was completed in 2018. The work is based on seven poems written by Dorothy Porter with this book in mind; the images were created by Robert Colvin in response to those poems. Foreign Forests was bound by Simon Dart of SB Libris in Bendigo, Victoria. The paper is Magnani Incisioni 190 gsm. Foreign Forests utilizes acrylic screen ink. The edition consists of 8 copies and 4 artists’ proofs’ – the colophon.

Poetry by the Miles Franklin Award shortlisted Australian author illustrated with original silkscreens by Melbourne photographer and artist Robert Colvin.

The poems are: Alphabet underwater; On reading E. M. Forster’s Guide to Alexandria; The foreign forest; Blackberries; Egypt; The horsehead nebula, and Waterview street.
