Rare Welsh miner’s guide (titled ‘The land of gold, or, the companion for the Welsh emigrant to Australia’) to the Australian gold fields. The subtitle reads : Hanes y Cyfandir Australaidd, y Trefedigaethau Prydeinig ynddo, ac Ardaloedd yr Aur, eu Tir, Hinsawdd, Masnach, Cyflogau, Deddfau, &c., &c.; yn nghyda lluaws o Ffeithiau o ddyddordeb a phwys arbenig i’r Ymfudwr (The History of the Australian Continent, the British Colonies therein, and the Gold Districts, their Land, Climate, Commerce, Wages, Laws, &c., &c.; together with a multitude of Facts of interest and special importance to the Emigrant). At the conclusion of the mining text is a ballad Can yr ymfudwr, gan Eben Farrd  (Song of the Emigrants, by Eben Fardd).
