Higher Trades printing students, Sydney Technical College present their sixth annual dinner : with which is incorporated celebrations of the five hundredth anniversary of printing, Pfahlert’s Hotel, Wednesday, 13th December 1939.

Presented in portfolio with cover title: Commemorating the 500th anniversary of the birth of printing. [Sydney] : Students of the Presswork Classes, Sydney Technical College, 1939. Quarto, pale blue thick paper covers with embossed portrait silhouette to front, original silk ties, printed on Strathmore watermarked paper, title page with device in red, [10], 28, [1] pp, vignette portrait illustrations of important figures in the history of printing; a few spots of foxing but a near fine copy; loosely inserted is the programme for the evening which includes the menu (a single folded sheet, also printed on watermarked paper); accompanied by the original matching thick paper portfolio with cover title (stained and foxed). Scarce.
