Parisian tribal art dealer Anthony Meyer’s monumental and fabulously well illustrated publication is probably still the best general introduction to Oceanic Art available. Covers the cultures of Melanesia, Polynesia and Micronesia. The larger format two volume edition, a single volume edition was published the same year.
