A charming and unique manuscript map of the world on Mercator’s projection, with detailed decorative border and original hand colour. The continents are presented in outline hand colour and the map is annotated ‘Elson House Academy’. The manuscript is extensively annotated with the names of various places and some extensions of the Antarctic continent.
