This commercial exhibition included works from Benin, Bamun (Cameroon), and Ivory Coast collected between the 1930s and 1960s by Belgian collector Louis Brouckxou. These were all offered for sale by Brouckxou at his Abbia Gallery in New South Head Road, Edgecliff in March 1970 – so presumably many of them ended up in local collections.
