Stockholm : Huvudbladet, 1971-1972. Issues 1 – 4 (all published). Folio newspaper, photo montage and comic strip illustrations (some colour), the first issue with large format (390 x 550 mm) insert photographic poster by Hans Esselius of Jimi Hendrix with printed lyrics of Pass it on (Straight Ahead); all issues in fine condition.

Rare complete set of four issues of this shortlived yet highly influential Swedish counterculture newspaper, filled with images and text devoted to, in the main, music and politics. Its name is a play on Aftonbladet, Sweden’s most famous tabloid newspaper (huvud means head in English, and has the same sexual connotation).
