This issue includes articles on intellectual development, Josephus, the concept of home, freemasonry, acids, and the successors of Alexander the Great, as well as moral maxims, verse, letters to the editor and classifieds. A wonderful, lengthy advertisement for W. Ford's artists' repository, detailing many different products, occupies two-thirds of a column on page 303.
