Foolscap folio handbill, printed on both sides; text on verso: ‘We are going to have a party in the street to celebrate the opening of the Women’s Mural Project. 3 pm – 7.30 pm Saturday 5th April, Gas & Fuel Corporation Depot Wall, corner Hodgkinson Street and Smith Street (between Alexandra Parade and Queens Parade), Fitzroy … Barbie’s Dead, last gig. The Women’s Project 1986. Bomboniere to barbed wire. This mural was designed and painted by Eve Glenn and Megan Evans after two months talking with and photographing women in the Northcote-Preston area….’; faint original folds, mild toning, otherwise very well preserved.

Rare piece of ephemera associated with a significant part of Melbourne’s recent social history.
