An attractive coloured world map in hemispheres, the spandrels incorporating a comparative chart of the principal mountains throughout the world; comparative charts of the principal rivers in the Western and Eastern hemispheres; with accompanying tables of distances and elevations; descriptions of the chief products produced in different parts of the world. The three voyages of Captain Cook are plotted and there is much geographical detail contained in the Australian continent and in the South Pacific including the dates of discovery of various islands and territories.
