Folio, original illustrated covers featuring the striking red and green “Bunyip” from the stage production, and cartouche portraits of the play’s producer Nat Phillips, author Ella Airlie, theatre entrepreneurs the Fuller Brothers, Marsh Little, and Queenie Paul (original owner’s name to front, tiny stitch holes from old binding along spine), [3] pp, music notation (arrangement for piano); inside front cover and the fourth page with music for Down in Australia and Nulla Nulla; some mild toning, short tear at fore-edge, and a nick at bottom corner, but a good copy.

The song is dedicated by Marsh Little ‘To my friend, Mrs Annie Bond, Hay, N.S.W.’

The highly successful pantomime The Bunyip was staged in 1916 at the Grand Opera House, Sydney; in 1917 at the Princess Theatre, Melbourne, and the Majestic Theatre, Adelaide; and in 1918 at the Empire, Brisbane.
