Irish-born Henry Glenny was a pioneer photographer on the central Victorian goldfields. He opened his first studio in Castlemaine in 1857, and in the 1860s operated studios concurrently in Ballarat, Kyneton and Castlemaine. In the 1870s he relocated to Sale in Gippsland.
