Albumen print photograph, 150 x 200 mm, captioned in negative ‘Broken Hill’; laid down recto of a 19th-century album leaf, with handwritten caption ‘Broken Hill’ in bottom margin; the print is in very good condition, but the mount has some light foxing; verso has an identical format albumen print of a river scene with cliffs (uncaptioned, but possibly River Darling?); no photographer’s name on either print, but both are possibly attributable to G. H. Jenkinson (The Areas Photographic Company).
